Important changes to Belgrave Road and City Centre stops

From Monday 7th November 2011, the 203 service from Enderby-City Centre-Birstall will operate a slightly different route.

Following feedback from passengers and from businesses in the Belgrave Road area, along with a review of the passenger numbers using the Belgrave Road bus stops, it has been decided that the service should be routed along Abbey Lane and Abbey Park Road. This means that any passengers who did use the Belgrave Road bus stops can use the new stops outside and opposite Leicester College instead.

The change of route will also result in timing changes at the stops in Leicester city centre, particularly for those passengers who board in the city centre to travel to Enderby. It is hoped that these changes will alleviate the problems with some of the peak time buses.

Revised times are available on the Birstall and Enderby pages of the website, with timetable booklets being available in the next few weeks.

The new route and timetable will operate from Monday 7th November 2011. The 103 Meynell’s Gorse service is not affected by these changes.
